We have partnered with Dolly Parton and her Dollywood Foundation to bring her Imagination Library to Southern California.

The Imagination Library is a book-gifting program for children from birth to age five.  Each month, an age-appropriate book is mailed directly to the enrolled child's home at no cost to the parent. Our program thus prepares youth to enter school more confident in literacy and comprehension. Dolly has a saying, "If books make a child feel special, then the child will feel books are special."

We all know that having access to books, and being read to from the beginning of life, is the foundation of learning. Cognitive understanding and creativity start from birth; it is how we nurture these traits that turns us into who we are and guides us through our lives. This program has the ability to empower the next generation and give them an equitable start at not only pursuing education and success, but becoming a generation of thinkers, innovators, and those that will lead us into the future.
